The MAIN makes room for the young people of the Art and Music High School

7 June 2019

At the MAIN on Friday 7 June at 5:30 pm an “exhibition within an exhibition” will be inaugurated: alongside the sticks from the large collections, the works of the students from the Aosta Art School will be on display. They have dedicated themselves to a project to rework the stick, creating “magic wands” that will be visible in the Gignod exhibition venue throughout the summer. The students from the Music School will enliven the inaugural event, performing in concert for the audience with a repertoire that ranges from the Baroque era to contemporary times, giving them the opportunity to test themselves as young musical promises.
Elena D’Incà and Noemi Bazzanella on the flute, Sofia Coco on the vibraphone, Mattia Formento and Davide Brazzale on the clarinet, Stéphan Masserano on the guitar and Edoardo Milleret on the accordion inaugurate with their concert the second edition of the “Bastoni Sonori” Music Festival which throughout the summer will bring renowned musicians from all over Italy to the museums of L’Artisanà who will accompany the public on a journey through sounds, identity, tradition and experimentation.
The event is free to enter.
