Mission
The handcrafted object is full of knowledge , it tells the identity of a community , the nature from which it comes and the expert hands that created it.
For this reason we are committed every day to:
preserve a thousand-year-old heritage;
pass on knowledge to future generations;
protect the uniqueness and provenance of artisanal production;
support local artisan businesses.
Origins of the name
The term “L’Artisanà” derives from the name with which the artisans of the Aosta Valley historically indicated the shop in the centre of Aosta where, after the Sant’Orso Fair and during the rest of the year, they brought their production for sale. L’Artisanà was a point of reference for the artisans of the Aosta Valley . The L’Artisanà brand was born from the strength of this identity.
