Collective Exhibition “We, artisans in quarantine”
6 April 2020
In this period of isolation, the MAV – Museo dell’Artigianato Valdostano di Tradizionale launches a challenge to artisans: a Collective Exhibition that tells their quarantine. Locked in our homes, we all dedicate ourselves to our passions and many artisans are also dedicating their time to the production of artifacts. These works are the symbol of a particular historical-social moment, but they are also the fruit of how one can react to the stalemate by creating beautiful handicrafts.
The Fénis museum has thus decided to propose to the Aosta Valley artisans to select one of their works that tells this moment and to “nominate” it for a Collective Exhibition, which will take place in two moments, the first virtual through our website and the second in its museum spaces when the activities reopen.
Artisans, send us your creations!_
