Oeuvre Choisie on display at the MAV

From February 15th to May 11th, 2025

Starting from Saturday 15 February, the MAV hosts a new edition of the Oeuvre Choisie. On display, the 16 works selected from over a thousand stalls of the 1025th Foire de Saint-Ours. These unique creations represent the ideal bridge between the past and present of traditional Aosta Valley craftsmanship. The works were chosen for their materials, techniques, aesthetics and simplicity, and were distinguished by the logo that indicates the artefacts that best represent the local artisan culture.

This edition awarded works by the artisans Corrado Abram, Gianni Bionaz, Davide Brusaferro, Dario Crétier, Bruno Diémoz, Ezio Gallet, Marco Joly, Fulvio Marguerettaz, Dante Marquet, Giuseppe Martoccia, Gianfranco Nicoletti, Giorgio Giuseppe Perin Ritz, Guglielmo Pramotton, Antonio Roncari, Sebastiano Scordamaglia and Elio Michele Sucquet.

The works are visible at the MAV until 11 May 2025, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00 to 18.00. Entrance to the exhibition is included in the museum entrance ticket.
