Amédée Berthod, Un homme qui rêvait
1 November 2011
The exhibition is a solo show dedicated to the figure of Amédée Berthod and his collection of pastoral art preserved by his daughters. Poet, intellectual and collector, Berthod was able to capture the intimacy of the Aosta Valley soul in the simplicity of words and forms, passionately exploring the authenticity of popular art.

Poet, intellectual and collector, Berthod was able to capture the intimacy of the Aosta Valley soul in the simplicity of words and forms, passionately exploring the authenticity of popular art. This exhibition is part of a cultural project that lasted two years and saw the publication of a video documentary and a volume that told the story of the Aosta Valley collector through his writings, the testimonies of those who knew him and the works he collected.
