Chosen Work at the Fair

Also this year, on the occasion of the Foire de Saint-Ours, the MAV – Museo dell’Artigianato Valdostano di Tradizionale proposes the initiative “Oeuvre Choisie”, an event that has been going on for ten years at the museum and eagerly awaited by the exhibiting artisans. Starting at the first light of dawn on Tuesday 30 January, the museum identifies among the stalls of the fair the works that, due to their characteristics, represent the ideal fil-rouge between the past and present of traditional Valdostano craftsmanship. All the chosen works will subsequently be exhibited at the MAV with an exhibition dedicated to them.
