Leatherworking Workshop for Adults at MAV
On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the MAV – Museum of Traditional Valdostan Handicrafts is offering a leatherworking workshop for adults, led by artisan Aldo Andres Villegas Castiglioni, who will guide participants in creating a handcrafted leather case.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the material, its features, and main uses, along with practical tips for working with leather. Participants will then move on to designing and creating a pattern, cutting, and preparing the individual pieces. In the final stage, they will assemble their case using the traditional saddle stitch technique.
Who: adults and teens aged 14 and up When: June 8, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM Cost: €20 per person (includes materials and museum admission), €50 per person for 3 workshops. Booking required.
