The exhibition

With the month of September, the biennial exhibition dedicated to the world of sticks closes, the MAIN – Maison de l’Artisanat International, dedicates an afternoon to the artisans, collectors, collaborators, visitors and friends who have shared this important exhibition project with us. On Saturday 14 September, the Gignod exhibition center will host the closing party of the exhibition “Bâtons Amis” with guided tours and a concert-aperitif with the Duo Moulin.
At 4:00 pm you can discover all the curiosities related to the exhibition with a guided tour in which the contemporary artists who took part in the project Art vs Craft and the lending collectors will accompany you to discover their works. At 5:00 pm the Duo Moulin will offer the public a concert between tradition and electronic experimentation. The two musicians from the Aosta Valley, Christian Thoma and Rémy Boniface, through the intertwining of acoustic instruments and electronics, will give life to a musical show between classical, folk and jazz, creating sound environments that are sometimes traditional, sometimes contemporary, in a journey through time and space. At 6:30 pm, to conclude the day, an aperitif event will follow to greet and thank all those who have made these two years of exhibition unique. The event is free of charge.
