MAV Summer Exhibitions

At the Collegiate Church of Saints Peter and Orso in Aosta, the exhibition “Giorgio Cornaz, the infinite time of making” is open to the public, dedicated to an “old craftsman” who talks about his production and in particular the ancient technique of weaving willow using the “stitch sewing” technique.
At the MAV you can visit the exhibition “Merletti, fili che uniscono” dedicated to the art of lace with the delicate creations of the Dentellières of Cogne and the Lacemakers of Gorizia, two equal but different artisan traditions, both bearers of knowledge to be safeguarded.
