Artisan Mountains
29 July 2018
The exhibition, created in collaboration with CVA, tells the story of the mountain, the raw materials that the territory gives us and the artisan skill capable of shaping it and making it art.
The mountain described as a territory that offers materials: wood, stone, iron, yarns, worked by man with artisanal manual skills, narrate the typical knowledge of the different Aosta Valley valleys. The complex dialogue between territory, memory, models, innovation is represented in the exhibition by “symbolic objects”, proposed in close harmony with the environment in which they are born to spread the variety of artisanal work.
