Willow Weaves: Basketry Workshop for Children

The MAV – Museum of Valdostan Craftsmanship dedicates its March workshops to basketry, the ancient technique of weaving willow.
After visiting the museum to explore the production chain and seasonality of basketry, participants learn to work with branches to create their own piece: a small willow basket. The workshop fosters coordination, concentration, and creativity, emphasizing direct contact with local materials and allowing participants to discover their unique characteristics.
