Our museum is still closed, but virtual activities continue! In addition to the cultural programming #iorestoacasaconilMAV this week the MAV launches a new challenge to the public: perforMAV. It is a virtual competition in which you are all invited to interpret the fun works of the museum!
The initiative, inspired by the great museums and cultural institutions that launched “l’arte ti somiglia”, aims to involve the public in a fun way. Every Saturday we will publish on our Facebook and Instagram channels @lartisana.vda the images of the museum’s works to be interpreted, you will have to photograph your performance and send us a photo by Thursday. On Friday we will publish the competing images and the one that collects the most likes by Saturday at 2 pm will receive a voucher for free entry to the museum or an entry to an educational carpentry workshop of your choice.
The first challenge started on Saturday 9th May… join us in large numbers!
WE, ARTISANS IN QUARANTINE Virtual inauguration of the Collective Exhibition
The Collective Exhibition “We, artisans in quarantine” will be inaugurated virtually on our website www.lartisana.vda.it on Monday, May 18 at 5 pm. It is a virtual exhibition of the works that tell the story of the quarantine of our artisans. These works are the symbol of a particular historical-social moment, but they are also the result of how one can react to the stalemate by creating beautiful craftsmanship.
This first virtual moment will be followed, in the summer, by a real exhibition when the activities reopen to the public.
