From today the ticket office of the MAV – Museum of Traditional Aosta Valley Crafts is also online!
It will be possible to buy a ticket to visit the exhibition space, book a guided tour or an educational workshop for children directly from your own home.
You can also purchase vouchers for cultural experiences to give as gifts to friends and relatives through the portal.

GeoNight, the geography of craftsmanship
On Friday 14 April 2023, the MAV hosts an event on the occasion of GeoNight, the international night of geography.
GeoNight is an international event dedicated to the promotion of geography, in which numerous free activities open to the public are organized with the aim of highlighting the importance of the discipline in new and engaging ways.
For the occasion, the Fénis museum, the University of Valle d’Aosta and the Italian Geographic Society are proposing a long afternoon dedicated to the geography of craftsmanship: objects, techniques, processes and decorations of our craftsmanship are in fact the mirror of the territory that gave them life, and carry within themselves the memory of a provenance and a territorial belonging. Geography is in every craft object and is the bearer of “the matter of emotions” that heritages are the bearers of.
The event program includes three guided tours on the theme of “geography of craftsmanship” at 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm and a presentation of the MEDIA project – Advanced Multimedia Digital Emotional Museum to tell “the matter of emotions” at 5:00 pm.
