In November the MAV dedicates itself to the assets

During the month of November, the MAV – Museum of Traditional Aosta Valley Crafts is dedicated to heritage.
This autumn month has always been dedicated to the care of the collections: the museum’s works are subjected to checks, cleaning and maintenance conservation. But it is also a time to better observe the heritage, study its characteristics, inscriptions and decorations.
The protection of heritage is an essential task for a museum. The works that the museum preserves are cultural and identity assets of the territory that belong to the community and it is a duty to commit to their protection so that they can tell their story to the community of today and tomorrow.
The MAV is closed from November 6th to December 4th. It will reopen to the public on December 5th.
