Baton Amis Exhibition Closing Party

The « Bâtons Amis » exhibition closes with celebration and music

With the month of September, the biennial exhibition dedicated to the world of walking sticks comes to a close. MAIN – Maison de l’Artisanat International dedicates an afternoon to the artisans, collectors, collaborators, visitors and friends who have shared this important exhibition project with us.
On Saturday 14 September, the Gignod exhibition centre will host the closing party of the “Bâtons Amis” exhibition.
At 4.00 pm you will be able to discover all the curiosities inherent to the exhibition with a guided tour in which the contemporary artists who took part in the Art vs Craft project and the lending collectors will accompany you to discover their works.
At 5:00 pm, the Duo Moulin will offer the public a concert between tradition and electronic experimentation . The two musicians from the Aosta Valley, Christian Thoma and Rémy Boniface, through the intertwining of acoustic instruments and electronics, will give life to a musical show between classical, folk and jazz, creating sound environments that are sometimes traditional, sometimes contemporary, in a journey through time and space.
At 6:30 pm, to conclude the day, there will be an aperitif event to greet and thank all those who have made these two years of exhibition unique.
The event is free to enter.
