The new website of IVAT – Institut Valdôtain de l’Artisanat de Tradition is online.
A long work started from the desire to change the communication philosophy of the organization, starting from the craft object and wanting to value what it really represents: its history, the nature from which it comes and the skilled hands that create it, also making known the faces and stories that lie behind the artisanal savoir-faire. From these assumptions the new site was born: www.lartisana.vda.it. Starting from the images and colors chosen, with a new and fresh design, we wanted to bring the visitor’s attention to our themes and our cultural and commercial work areas.
We chose to focus on immediacy and accuracy to best promote the work of IVAT in the new online showcase, with the many projects aimed at making the world of craftsmanship and our heritage, the fruit of centuries-old knowledge, increasingly alive.
To make them understand and appreciate everywhere, the site will be available in three languages: Italian, French and English and completely mobile friendly.
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS: EASTER AT MAV
On the occasion of Easter, MAV dedicates itself to the little ones by proposing creative activities to give them the opportunity to experience the manual skills of artisans by building themselves an original egg box.
When:
March 31st:
- 10.30 – 12.30
- 15.00 – 17.00
Cost and how to participate:
The cost for each individual workshop is €7.00 per child with the option of a subscription for €35.00 (for 5 entries + 1 free).
Reservations are required (max. 15 children) at the MAV (0165-763912) or at all regional tourist offices by 6.00 pm the previous day.
For children under 6 years of age, the presence of an adult is required. Please also remember that only one adult per child can access the laboratory. However, during the children’s laboratory activity, the accompanying adult can visit the Museum using the reduced ticket price (€3.00).
BOUTIQUE OPENING HOURS FOR EASTER
Our Boutiques during the Easter holidays will have special opening hours to offer you the opportunity to purchase authentic Valle d’Aosta craftsmanship branded IVAT!
The Boutiques in Aosta, Cogne and Courmayeur will be open from Thursday 29 March to Wednesday 3 April with the following opening hours:
- Morning: 10.00 – 12.30
- Afternoon: 3.00pm – 7.00pm
While the Ayas Boutique will be open on the same dates but with the following hours:
- Morning: 10.00 – 12.30
- Afternoon: 3.30pm – 7.30pm
