On the weekend of September 26 and 27, the MAIN-Maison de l’Artisanat International hosts a carnet de voyage workshop with the great artist Stefano Faravelli. With notebooks and watercolors, beginners and experts will learn to discover and tell the landscape of rock and sky that surrounds us, without losing sight of the artisan wisdom and the beauty of stone and wood.
“We will be surrounded by the peremptory and excessive scenery of the Alps; in the presence of crests and passes with famous names such as the “couloir Annibal” of Velan or the San Bernardo of Grand Combin. Under the eyes of the Massif du Mont Blanc with its aguilles in the distance. The observation point will be an ancient Aosta Valley house on the Via Francigena, with its “pools”, its stables and mangers. A Rascard with extraordinary wooden joints, the culmination of a thousand-year-old construction art.”
The workshop will last two days: Saturday 26 September 2020 from 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday 27 September 2020 from 9.30 am to 6 pm (with lunch break).
The cost is €220 for the entire course and booking is mandatory at 349 1935057.
