The month of November saw us again in Lugano for the third edition of Evento Artigiano , organized by Aticrea – Associazione Ticinese Artigiani Artisti, from 8 to 10 November at the historic Villa Ciani.
For the occasion we have set up a space dedicated to the excellence of Aosta Valley textiles, presenting the works of the main local artisans and dividing the exhibition area into four thematic zones.
The spaces of the cooperatives Les Dentellières , Les Tisserands and Lou Dzeut presented both the working tools (looms, bobbins) and various artefacts, some more traditional and others born from new ideas and experiments.
The area dedicated to Flowers, Threads and Colours reproduced the laboratory in which Ilaria Brunet creates natural yarn dyes.
During the event, both the cooperatives and the young entrepreneur performed live processing demonstrations that attracted the attention of many visitors who were passionate about the sector.

The chalet at the Marché Vert Noël
This year, the Aosta Christmas markets will take place in the central Piazza Chanoux, offering an enchanting atmosphere to celebrate the magic of the holidays.
We will participate together with the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley with a chalet where it will be possible not only to buy artisanal products but also to preview the Foire La Saint Ours 2025 poster!
In the chalet, 13 Valle d’Aosta artisans who are IVAT suppliers will take turns: each will present their own unique creations, the result of a thousand-year-old tradition that values local materials and artisan techniques.
During the weekends, it will also be possible to attend the Educational Carpentry workshops created by MAV for the little ones and see the craftsmen at work: in fact, numerous days of demonstrations of artisan workmanship are planned.

The confirmation for Artigiano in Fiera
From November 30th to December 8th the pavilions of Rho Fieramilano will host Artigiano in Fiera , the main global event dedicated to craftsmanship and small businesses.
We will be present with a stand dedicated to the sale and promotion of ceramic, leather, iron, wood, soapstone, glass and fabric products, all the fruit of the rich artisan tradition of the Aosta Valley. There will also be an area reserved exclusively for demonstrations of artisan workmanship, in which nine artisans will take turns, ready to share their experience and the techniques behind their creations.

At the beginning of December, our stores in Ayas, Cogne and Courmayeur will reopen their doors for the winter season, ready to offer a careful selection of high-quality products.
Immersed in the snowy mountain landscapes, they will inspire you in choosing your Christmas gifts, handmade with attention to detail, making you discover the unique creations of our artisans: elegantly decorated grolle, carefully crafted sculptures, cockerels made from forked twigs, tatà of all shapes and sizes, soapstone sculptures and much, much more…
