MAV laboratories at the Megalithic Area
3 January 2019
Every Thursday in January, the MAV education section enters the Megalithic Area of Saint-Martin-de-Corléans with a series of educational activities dedicated to the exhibition “Donato Savin. The language of stone”.
On Thursday 3 January there are two events for families with children, while on Thursday 10, 17 and 24 January there are three days reserved for educational activities with the Aosta Valley schools.
The workshops focus on manual craftsmanship, experimentation with the transformation of matter and the interpretation of the forms that nature itself offers us. Children, with hard stone, wood and natural materials such as moss and lichen, will become protagonists by reinterpreting the contemporary steles of Donato Savin.
The family workshops are aimed at children aged 3 to 12 and the educational activity is included in the entrance ticket to the Megalithic Area (€7 full, €5 reduced, free for children up to 6 years). For information and bookings for the activities, contact the MAV at 0165-763912.
