On Tuesday 29 January, at the headquarters of the IVAT-Institut Vald\u00f4tain de l’Artisanat de Tradition, the signatories of the International Charter of Crafts will meet behind closed doors in a programmatic and strategic meeting in which the objectives for the year 2019 will be established, to be developed through the representatives of the national entities that deal with traditional and artistic crafts.
The meeting scheduled in Aosta will be attended, with their own delegates, by the major organizations that deal with the valorization of craftsmanship from all over the country, from Veneto to Piedmont and from Friuli to Campania: Dr. Chiara Mercatante of Artex Florence, Dr. Maria Pilar Lebole and Dr. Benedetta Zini of the OMA Observatory of Artistic Crafts Association – CR Foundation of Florence, Dr. Federica Cavriana Head of training projects and orientation of the Cologni Foundation Milan, Dr. Gianmarco Luggeri Head of the Wellmade project of the Cologni Foundation Milan, Dr. Elena Agosti Curator of the Ceramics Museum of Nove VI Vicenza, Dr. Eva Seminara Head of the Artistic Crafts Category of Confartigianato Udine, Prof. Gianfranco Cavagli\u00e0 Full Professor of the Polytechnic of Turin, Dr. Patrizia Maggia Director of MAC Contemporary Art Crafts Biella and Dr. Anna Rita Fasano President of the Pandora Artiste Ceramiste Campane Association.
IVAT, the body promoting the enhancement of the Aosta Valley artisan tradition, has decided to organize this meeting in conjunction with the Sant’Orso Fair with the aim of accompanying, in the days following the meeting, the entire delegation visiting the Foire to introduce them to the complex Aosta Valley artisan reality and the historic event dedicated to craftsmanship that has no equal in Italy.
