The Christmas holidays are approaching and this year too the MAV – Museo dell’Artigianato Valdostano di Tradizionale is offering an exhibition dedicated to nativity scenes. \u201cNativity scenes, living traditions. Craftsmanship tells its story\u201d, this is the title of the exhibition that opens on Friday 6 December at 5:30 pm and features a series of important nativity scenes created by those who have made the history of our craftsmanship: Giuseppe Binel, Jean Brunodet, Giuseppe Amedeo Chapellu, Gino Daguin, Riccardo Foretier, Luigi Meynet, Feliciano Savoye, Gino Thomasset and Giulio Vuillermoz. The display invites visitors to breathe in the atmosphere of a special moment of the year through the elements that have brought the tradition of Christmas to life since time immemorial: the living nativity scene, the joy of sharing, stories from the past, poems and songs and, of course, the nativity scene.
